what happened to this school that was suppose to last into the new system?

theories on what mistakes and gross incompetence took place at gilead, from a business and "mission" stand point.. 1. the screening process appears to have been a failure, were these men and women really evaluated to how much stress they could endure, psychological frailties, propensity to fail to adapt to their new culture?

it's one thing to pioneer for ten or fifteen years in santa barbara, california or branson, missouri but try pioneering in a fourth world country (liberia is less than a third world, it's bad!

The foundation of choosing men and women is flawed at the foundation. It is based on the concept of spirituality based on evidence of works.

For example, I became a ministerial servant, announced without my even being consulted, by my step brother PO and Elder father in law. I was evidently doing enough even though i was not spiritual at all.

My application to regular pioneer was approved in spite of a confessed 'problem'. Evidently i was making all the right moves that made me look spiritual. The same happened with application to Bethel and approval thereof. Would i have made it there? for a while, but my demons were far stronger than a fake spirituality i can assure you.

Then wife and I would go to those gilead meetings at conventions and take home application forms. My entire JW life was one of desperatly trying to be spiritual and never succeeding. Always doing the right things...

And thus i think this illustrates the path of those to gilead and beyond. Most are probably not spiritual at heart, they have been trained to think activity is spirituality by the Leaders. The leaders think their own activity is spirituality so they promte those with the same concept.

There probably are genuine spiritual men and women in congregations, but they will never get a second look because they do not fit the stereotype the WT looks for.

The Watchtower leadership are blind leading the blind, and deserve every hole they fall into.

To tell the truth, he loved its looks but hated the way it drove. The guy he sold it to did a race with an aircraft and lost control, spunout real bad and embarresed himself in the process of damaging his toy!

this you may know was the book that calculated 1975 would end 6000 years of humanity on earth possibly leaving the "thousand years" of revelation to complete the 7000-year "creative day.

" jehovah's witnesses jumped on this implication as "new light" with enormous enthusiasm.
